- Ideally be Degree qualified in a Chemistry or a related discipline

- Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Perform testing and analysis on materials and prototypes.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Accurately document results and compile data for reports.
- Support the design and assembly of test setups and prototypes.
- Solving problems and improving engineering processes
- Being involved in designing, implementing and overseeing project plans
- Liaising with other departments to manage such projects
- Ensuring quality and H&S standards are met
- Design equipment layouts
- Maintaining technical documentation as required
- Keeping up to date with reports and developments in inorganic chemistry
- Pushing for constant progression for product development and manufacturing techniques
