Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilledMobile Domestic Gas Engineerto join our team. Based inGloucester and surrounding areas, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas services to domestic properties, primarily working on Ministry of Defence (MOD) sites. This role offers a competitive salary of up to 45,000 per annum, with opportunities for career progression and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in domestic properties.
• Conduct routine inspections and services on heating systems, boilers, and other gas appliances.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
• Respond to emergency call-outs when required, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any other relevant documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication with clients and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of gas regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Work independently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Comply with MOD security and safety requirements when working on military sites.

Key Requirements:

• ACS Certification (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent).
• Valid Gas Safe Register Membership.
• Proven experience working as a domestic gas engineer.
• Strong knowledge of domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
• Experience working on MOD or military sites is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to pass background checks to work on MOD sites.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
