Great opportunity to join the team of an expanding and leading technology company based in Quedgeley, as a Business Development Manager! This is a full-time and permanent position.

The company has experienced a large amount of growth in recent times, and they anticipate even more. They are looking for a sales-focused, hardworking and driven individual to join their team and work alongside the current Business Development Manager in maintaining current customer relationships and identifying and acting upon new business opportunities.

Although the office is based in Quedgeley, the role will involve travel to areas across England. This means that overnight stays will be required, but all accommodation is paid for. The successful candidate will be provided with a company car & car allowance as well as a laptop and mobile phone. This role can also be operated remotely (with onsite visits to the office one to two times a month) once initial on-site training has been completed.

To be considered for this role, our client is seeking a sales-driven, experienced Business Development Manager who has experience within the telecoms sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify new business opportunities

- Proactive reaction to leads

- Closing sales orders

- Representing the company by telephone, written communications and in person

-Search potential market areas for telecom opportunities

-Attend industry events & conferences to network and promote products and the business

-Build relationships & stay up to date with new products and technologies.

-Create sales forecasts & actively work towards reaching them

-Deliver in person & online sales presentations with prospective and existing customers.

-Work alongside the engineering team to find resolutions and solutions for all new and

existing customers

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5pm with an early finish of 4:30pm on a Friday, you will need to have some flexibility around meeting times with prospective customers

Salary: 40k per annum depending on experience + commission package +company car/car allowance + laptop + mobile phone
