Marketing Planning ManagerThis prestigious group of niche tour operators are renowned for providing exceptional travel experiences worldwide.  This collective includes leading brands specialising in scenic, and special interest tours, cultural, and historical holidays.  They have a new opportunity for a Marketing Planning Manager to join their successful team in leading the marketing activity for each brand, with ownership of driving efficient, customised marketing campaigns and collaborating with product & marketing to select and promote products through appropriate channels. Salary c£40k, hybrid or full home working considered for experienced candidates with travel sector experience.Marketing Planning Manager – Role & Responsibilities:Â
- Conduct and analyse customer and product booking patterns to insights and utilise these findings to develop targeted marketing and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with product and yield teams to understand and agree product promotion plans designed to deliver revenue & passenger targets.
- Work with the Campaigns and Channel Managers to choose the best products for promotion and contact customers through optimal channels.
- Oversee the execution of marketing activities to ensure on time and on budget.
- Provide clear creative briefs to internal/external teams for on-brand campaign assets.
- Report on promotion effectiveness and make recommendations for future campaigns & activity.
- Work in partnership with studio creative team to deliver quality on brand marketing delivering targeted messages and effective campaigns.
- Collaborate with channel managers to agree marketing spend and costs according to budgets.
- Conduct competitor and product analysis and suggest improvements as required to ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Matrix management across departments to ensure implementation of marketing strategy.
Marketing Planning Manager – Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience working as a B2C Marketing or Brand Manager / Senior Marketing Executive, preferably with travel sector experience.Â
- Strong brand & creative management skills & experience.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to analyse data to build information & insights resulting in positive action.
- Highly organised with strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects on time and according to budget.
- Commercially focused and astute with good understanding of the marketing channel mix.
- Ability to influence with a determination to drive projects to successful completion.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative flair together with strong written and verbal communication.
Marketing Planning Manager – Key Benefits:
