Sales Manager

Are you a go-getting sales dynamo who has an enviable track record of hunting for and converting business? Do you understand that being a successful sales person means putting in the hard yards? Do you have experience sales within estate and facilities management and / or guarding security with existing relationships in place?

Our client, with head offices in Central London, is looking for a Sales Manager based around the M5 corridor to aggressively drive and develop the Midlands and the South West.  

Candidates who thrive on pressure and are hungry for significant success should definitely apply!

Please note you will be required to spend at least a day a week in the Gloucestershire office with the rest of the time on networking, attending events and generating business.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Developing and following a robust and aggressive sales strategy
  • Maximising on your current relationships, developing business within existing accounts
  • Hunting for new clients and contracts
  • Designing and delivering proposals and presentations
  • Consistently achieving agreed sales and revenue targets
  • Setting your own sales strategy in order to generate significant short, medium and long term success
  • Working closely with the Bid Manager and other members of the team to drive business and win contracts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have existing relationships in place in the FM and / or guarding side of security
  • Exceptional sales ability with proven track record of winning developing new business in the security sector, especially around FM and / or guarding
  • Resilience, tenacity, drive and determination in droves
  • A desire to deliver exceptional results for your clients
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • A highly professional and corporate approach with very strong communication skills
  • Energetic, driven, highly tenacious with a very strong proven track record in sales
  • A clean driving licence is essential as a car or car allowance will be provided
  • The successful candidate will live within The South West or Midlands and have robust connections within the regional and local market
