Customer Service Coordinator

Gloucester

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established company looking to expand their team. They are in search of a Customer Service Coordinator who will play a crucial role in processing a high volume of orders and nurturing customer relationships.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to thrive under pressure, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. The ability to multitask effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting is essential. Prior experience in customer service (such as in retail or hospitality) is required, along with a good command of Excel and Outlook. Full training will be provided. As a vital part of the team, you will help ensure the smooth and timely movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders using Sage, including generating pick notes and dispatching completed orders.
  • Manage the Edge ordering system, including stock updates, order tracking, and adding courier details.
  • Create courier labels.
  • Accurately complete associated documentation, including paperwork for pallet movements, drivers, returns, and record-keeping.
  • Support in managing stock held at external warehouses and allocate it to orders as needed.
  • Handle telephone inquiries, taking messages or calls as appropriate.
  • Take responsibility for health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, promoting workplace safety.
