CNC Machinistsrequired to produce a variety of components for industry areas, specifically the F1 Motorsport section, within a leading manufacturer. This is a permanent opportunity, operating on a double-days shift pattern, with an early finish every Friday. If you are looking for the next, exciting step in your career, please apply.
What skills are we looking for?
- Ability to demonstrate experience in setting and operating CNC machining centres in a fast-paced production environment.
- Programming experience- editing programs, Haas Controls.
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
- Competently interpret engineering drawings - metric/imperial.
- Measure and verify own work.
- Good knowledge of work holding and setting jobs.
- Proactive problem solver, able to work on own initiative.
- Work with Production Engineers to improve production processes.
- Assist elsewhere at the discretion of the machine shop manager.
