- Days: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Nights: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Are you an experienced CNC Setter Operator with expertise in HAAS CNC milling machines?
My client is looking for a skilled CNC Setter Operator to produce high-quality components for a range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a strong background in operating and setting HAAS CNC milling machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines to manufacture components to precise specifications.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accuracy in machining.
- Conducting quality checks using tools like micrometres, calipers, and gauges.
- Adjusting tooling and machine settings as required for optimal production.
- Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure peak performance.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter Operator, ideally with HAAS CNC milling machinery.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code knowledge is a bonus).
- Skilled in quality control and precision measurements.
- Able to collaborate effectively to meet production targets.
- Confident in troubleshooting and problem-solving on the job.
