An established precision engineering company, supplying high-spec components to the aerospace, medical, and defence sectors, is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery in a clean, modern workshop, producing high-precision parts for industries that demand excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Setting and operating CNC machines (Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, etc.)
- Working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Ensuring quality standards are met through first-off and in-process inspections
- Working closely with engineers and production teams to optimise processes
? Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling, Turning, or both)? Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment? Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills? Prior experience in aerospace, medical, or defence manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
