Designer

Job Purpose:

As a Designer you will be responsible for the creation of construction drawings and manufacturing information for design of the Ventilated brick system to meet the client expectations, within the agreed timelines and budget. Working as part of a team under the guidance of the Project Design Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand the required project specification and tender scope.
2. Using a bespoke design system to create
3. Creating general arrangement drawings, detail drawings and construction drawings in 2D CAD for client approval.
4. Highlight any missing information required back to the Design Manager
5. Creating mounting system elevation drawings for site installation.
6. Producing manufacturing make sheets using a bespoke design system
7. Checking all working to ensure errors are eliminated before handing to the Design Manager for final checking.
8. Ensure all work is carried out in line with the company design processes
9. Continually review projects to capture variations and changes to the agreed contract scope, ensuring any additional costs are captured and highlighted to the design manager.
10. Liaising with the our factory on any technical queries.
11. Any other duties associated with this position which are related to the company or contribute to individual development.
