Permanent - £50-60k basic + car allowance

Gloucestershire (Just south of Gloucester)

We are currently supporting our client who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their growing team. Located from the Gloucestershire office you will take ownership of projects/ contracts of varying size and complexity, usually up to the value of £1m.

This company specialises in Mechanical & Electrical services, including design - installations - commissioning and servicing. Priding themselves on a high-quality of service and standards of work, which is testament to the 50+ years they have been operating in the UK.

The Mechanical Contracts Manager should have a strong background in mechanical/ heating aspects of projects, preferably within commercial and domestic buildings and be knowledgeable on associated mechanical services.

Requirements:

• Experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager with proven experience of managing contracts up to a value of £1M.

• Must be able to understand and read through specifications and drawings provided.

• The role will include managing various different sectors including commercial, education, Residential, healthcare and industrial.

Suitable candidates may have the following qualities:

• Thorough and efficient supplier and subcontractor knowledge

• Understanding of associated mechanical services

• Flexible and dedicated in approach to deadlines

• Computer literate with experience of Estimation software Issuing/updating contract documents via an electronic control system

• Willing and able to work as part of a team with personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment

• Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with Company policies

• Working in an integrated team
