Project Manager & DraughtsmanSalary: NEG - Umbrella or PAYEPosition: ContractLocation: CheltenhamHours: 37 hours' weekStart: ASAPMy client, a leading manufacturing and engineering company who specialise in the Aerospace industry are currently looking for a Project Manager & Draughtsman to join their team.My client designs, engineers and manufactures a broad portfolio of aerospace components on both an MRO and OEM site.Your role will be focused on site developments, using industry standard project management methodology to lead a project team according to the requirements set out by my client. You will ensue that projects are completed according to quality, cost and deadline objectives.Responsibilities:* Prepare and obtain validation from project sponsor, with particular focus on:o The project objectives and expected results.o The necessary resources and project organisation structure.o The deadlines required to reach expected results.* Negotiate the allocation of resources with functional managers.* Lead team (internal and external) to ensure performance of work packages according to project planning and update project indicators.* Prepare and submit major decisions to project sponsor and stakeholders.* Manage change and risk aspects to ensure project success.* Working in conjunction with the Project Engineer on the maintenance and development of site drawings.* Covering site service issues with Facilities Team Leaders.* Any other duties, which may be required in order to ensure the efficient operation of the site/business.Technical Competencies:* Problem solving skills.* Analytical skills.* Planning and scheduling skills, time management. (MS Project)* Fully conversant with AUTOCAD- REVIT would be of further benefit.* Knowledge of the CDM regulations.* Previous Project Management background.Behavioural competencies:* Teamwork with all members of the team and stakeholders.* Interpersonal skills (involving working effectively with others, consistent with the company's values)* Communication skills* Results-orientated* Leadership* Adaptability
