Assured Safety Recruitment is collaborating with a electrical contractor in the construction industry who are looking to expand their team in Gloucester. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Group Health & Safety Manager to join their expanding team.

Role Overview
In this role, you will drive all health and safety initiatives to reduce business risks, maintain full compliance with legislative and customer standards through streamlined processes, and inspire staff engagement across the organisation to build a strong health and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the health and safety team’s daily operations, including setting targets, line management, and performance tracking.

Identify and address primary health and safety risks across the company, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies with buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Ensure all health and safety management procedures are both effective and efficient across the organisation.
- Maintain ownership of all company H&S documentation and training materials, ensuring they stay current and convey essential information in an engaging manner.
- Monitor legislative changes and spearhead the implementation of compliant, cost-effective solutions.
- Promote key health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, actively engaging and influencing stakeholders to drive their adoption.

Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders.

Serve as a company ambassador at external meetings and events, representing company health and safety standards.
- Continuously seek out and implement best practices through industry reading, reports, and participation in relevant meetings and events.
- Prepare and present reports to the Board of Directors, both routine and incident-related as needed.

Your Experience:

Proven experience in Health & Safety in senior leadership within the Construction industry.

CMIOSH

NEBOSH Diploma/Equivalent
