We are working with a contemporary, residential property specialist looking to hire a Contracts Manager for various projects across the South Midlands. Great knowledge of traditional forms of building and a good understanding of both high-end residential sectors will be essential. Required Skills
- Lead your portfolio of projects and achieve the project goals set by both the client & business
- Provide technical solutions to both design & delivery issues that may arise
- Demonstrate strong communicative skills at a professional & technical level
- Ability to lead and manage people assigned to you
- Current industry knowledge of; build solutions, legislative practice & industry trends
- 2-5 years' experience contracts managing
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery team, notable our Project and Site Managers
- To ensure that the Company and Client Health and Safety policies are followed and adhered to by any of the resources utilised in the delivery of the projects and workflows under your control.
- Ensure all work is planned, mobilised and delivered to a target programme, ensuring timely completion whilst maintaining the desired quality of work
- Establish a good client working relationship throughout the life of a project and deliver excellent customer service
- Manage Labour and subcontract resources in close liaison with the Project Managers across multiple project sites to deliver the projects budget, to programme and to contract requirements
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation
- Manage your staff through proactive measures such as periodic and documented 1-2-1's that offer feedback and person development.
