 Job Title: Contracts Manager

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Contracts Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction Programme Development: Prepare and manage detailed construction programmes, setting clear target improvements and project milestones.
  • Progress Monitoring: Consistently track and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and overall programme.
  • Design Team Management: Lead and manage the design team, develop necessary schedules, and ensure that all required samples are obtained for client sign-off.
  • Client Interaction: Provide regular updates during client meetings, presenting project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Health & Safety Management: Oversee health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring all activities are risk-assessed, and safe systems of work are in place.
  • Quality Control Oversight: Ensure that quality inspections are conducted by the site team and personally perform high-level inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and control samples.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate, manage, and supervise subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Resource Management: Collaborate with fellow contracts managers and resource managers to allocate suitable resources and provide adequate coverage across project sites.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry.
  • Strong project management, design coordination, and scheduling experience.
  • Expertise in health and safety practices, quality control, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors while ensuring smooth project progression.
