As a Credit Controller, you will be an essential part of our finance team, responsible for managing the credit control function.

Your role and focus will be on mitigating risks and maximizing profits by ensuring credit issued by the company is paid in full and on time. You will continually look for ways to make the debt collecting process more accessible, more punctual and beneficial for both the company and the customer.

Main duties and responsibilities:

路 Managing the debt of a portfolio of customers

路 Managing customer account details ensuring they are up to date

路 Developing relationships with the customer

路 Releasing on-hold accounts following payment

路 Dealing with customers over the phone and email

路 Communicating with other departments to resolve queries

路 Handing of customer complaints by obtaining information and offering possible solutions

路 Opening (and closing) customer accounts

路 Allocating payments, refunds daily

路 Releasing pro-forma orders following payment of account

路 Updating ledgers with on hold queries

路 Reconciliations

路 Sending monthly report to the Accounts Manager, regarding unpaid invoices

Skills and specifications:

路 2 years+ in a similar role

路 Excellent customer service

路 Patience and the ability to remain calm

路 Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail

路 The ability to listen and negotiate with customers

路 Excellent verbal communication

路 Persistence and determination

路 Familiarity with data entry software

路 Ability to work well in a team
