Electrical Engineer / Design Engineer - Automation & Robotics
The company provide automation solutions including robots for industry. They have an exciting role for Electrical Design Engineer / Applications Engineer to help develop concepts, costings and keep the business up to date with new technologies through R&D and trials with suppliers who are developing their products and technology.
The individual will develop into this role as their knowledge and experience extends. It would suit an electrical engineer with design and controls experience.
The Role
- A varied project workload of multiple simultaneous projects as at any one time you could be working on an automotive project, food industry project and logistics project.
- Part of the multi-disciplined concept design team
- Collaborate closely with key suppliers such as Siemens Rockwell, Allen Bradley, ABB Robots
- Carry out site surveys
Requirements
- The role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer, Automation Engineer, Project Engineer or Controls Engineer.
- An engineer or Technician from an automated materials handling or robotics company could be suitable.
- HNC in Electrical Engineering
- Further training / qualifications in Automation or Robotics
- Excellent communication skills
Package
- 30K - 50K DoE
- 25 days holiday and full benefits package
