Electrical Design Engineer Greater Gloucestershire Area Fully on-site Salary range DOE: £44,000 - £57,000 + Benefits + Bonus
Summary
Our client based in the South-west requires an Electrical Design Engineer to support dynamic building services and often low carbon design.
Main responsibilities
- Create and oversee 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD and Revit
- Develop detailed electrical designs and perform calculations
- Monitor site progress and prepare regular reports and specifications
- Support design teams and clients throughout the project design phase
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly
- Represent the company in client interactions and contribute to business development
- Ensure designs adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and environmental requirements
- Experience in designing electrical systems across various building types
Essential
- HNC/HND Electrical qualification in Building Services Engineering or similar
- 3 years’ experience of designing electrical systems across a variety of buildings
- Can support projects & face clients
- Work both autonomously &collaboratively as a team
- Experience in software such as Amtech, Autocad e.t.c.
- Eligible for BPSS

- City & Guilds 2396
- BS7671:2018 advantageous
- IES or Dialux, Trimble Pro Design (Not all needed)
- Experience utilising Revit
- Willing to support junior engineers
