Overview:My client is a global leader for the design, manufacture, assembly and test of complex electro-mechanical systems for both Commercial and Military aircraft. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on their state-of-the-art test systems. Reporting to a Test Engineering Group Leader, you will join the Test Services Team with your primary responsibility to implement and support electro-mechanical test systems.Role:

  • Demonstrate technical competence in electro-mechanical systems and data acquisition techniques.
  • A willingness to expand your experience in qualification testing
  • Develop electrical interface systems within the Test facility.
  • Be the point of contact for electrical facility support.
  • Opportunity for customer and supplier liaison and occasional foreign travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • Time-served Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or BEng degree with relevant work experience.
  • Electrical circuit design and installation
  • PLC / HMI programming Design and implementation.
  • Motor control, electrical actuation and power generation equipment
  • Understanding of hydraulic circuit functionality and servo-hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge Control system, data acquisition and instrumentation implementation would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of electrical calibration of transducers.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety.
  • Task management skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and supervision abilities.
