My client is looking for an electrical biased maintenance engineer to join their team of experienced engineers working with various machinery, no 2 days will be the same! This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical biased maintenance engineer to take on a new challenge within a busy environment working on both preplanned and reactive maintenance.
Maintenance Engineer ā Electrical Biased

Salary DOE Ā£35,000 - Ā£45,000, shift allowance, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Life Insurance 4x salary, pension scheme.
37.5 hours per week Mon-Friday (Rotating shifts between 6am -6pm)
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- First point of reference for breakdowns.
- To ensure the relevant parties are informed if problem cannot be resolved.
- Carry out PPM in line with production schedules.
- Log and report any problems and corrective works within agreed timescales.
- Manage individual workload and identify when assistance will be needed.
- Undertake project/process improvement work when specified by seniors.
- Support Site Management team in analysing failure trends and provide potential solutions.
- Adhere to Stock Control procedures.
- Actively be involved with Continuous Improvement activities within the maintenance department.
- Share best practice to wider site.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- āTime servedā skilled maintenance or electrical engineer.
- Qualified NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in mechanical or electrical discipline.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Able to undertake tasks based on skills and training.
- Willing to be part of āemergency call outā if required.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a drive to grow and develop.
- Good understanding of HSE.
- Strong communication skills ā verbal and written.
- Good housekeeping skills.
