About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician to join their expanding team. This role will involve working on various sites across the UK, with a particular focus on the water industry. The position requires regular travel and staying away from home as part of the job.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the installation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and test electrical systems, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work across multiple sites within the water industry, including water treatment facilities, pumping stations, and other essential infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Travel nationwide to various project sites, with flexibility to stay away from home when required.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- ECS Gold Card (Essential)
- Proven experience as an Approved Electrician, specifically within the water industry
- In-depth knowledge of electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance practices.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and stay away from home when needed.
- Full driving licence and a strong capacity to work both independently and within a team environment.
