Job Title: Commercial Electrician (Permanent)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our clients team on a permanent basis, providing both preventative and reactive maintenance at a busy shopping centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial or commercial electrical work and be well-versed in maintaining and repairing electrical systems in large commercial settings.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all electrical systems within the shopping centre, responding to maintenance requests, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance within the shopping centre.
- Ensure all electrical installations are in accordance with current regulations and standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in commercial environments.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems.
- Work alongside other contractors and facilities management staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and any repairs made.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial electrical work is essential.
- AM2 qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Full knowledge of electrical safety standards and legislation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and customer service.
