Electrical Technician – Renewable Energy
Up to £42,000 + Company Van + 15% Bonus

MC Technical Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Technician to work with a client who produce green energy by Landfill Gas (LFG), Solar Energy and Battery Storage technologies. This role will primarily focus on Landfill Gas energy with our client willing to provide full training for the right individual with the minimum requirements being industrial electrical experience, interest in learning new skills and willingness to work in a field service capacity.
The Ideal location of candidate would be Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol or surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the renewable energy sector with plenty of training and career growth.
As the Electrical Technician you will be responsible for:
• Carrying out servicing, fault finding and reactive maintenance on all Electrical Power Generation Assets
• Travelling to assets across Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire/South Wales/Buckinghamshire/South Midlands.
• Safely Isolating assets to ensure operations and mechanical teams are able to safety interact with equipment
• Monitoring the work of external contractors on sites electrical assets
• Supporting Electrical Engineer and Electrical Maintenance Manager with upgrades and completion of project work
• Completing corrective maintenance work orders
• Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
• Electrical maintenance experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• A relevant Electrical Engineering qualification at Level 3/ONC/HNC/HND or above
• Working knowledge of all relevant H&S legislation
• A positive attitude towards learning and training
• Willingness to travel to sites across Gloucestershire, South Wales/Buckinghamshire and South midlands
