Inspection/Testing Electrician (Solar Farms)required to work in the Gloucester area.
My client is happy to take on a Test & Inspect Domestic electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic jobs. Working on Solar Farms is more niche & outside - full training will be provided.
Ideally this will be temp/contract/subbing for 3/6 months between 2 farms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of PV solar systems according to the latest edition of BS EN (phone number removed) and other relevant standards.
- Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards.
Skills & Qualifications required:
- Test and Inspect certification (2391 or equivalent).
- Valid CSCS or ECS card
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving license is essential.
Offers:
- 200/220per day depending on your experiences/solar
- Working hours; 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mons-Thurs, 7am-3,4,5pm on Fridays (depending on work load for the week).
- Overtime will be paid, 1x3 weekend work with travel expenses, if required.
- Must have own vehicle/transport to be considered.
