Maintenance Electrician

We have a job opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician. You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities and reactive work on site.

Salary: 19.71 per hour / 40 997 annual
Shift Pattern/ Hour: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 16:30 PM
Contract length: 6 Month


You would be responsible for:

  • Perform statutory and non-statutory PPM as per annual planners and task instructions.
  • Maintain and update site logbooks with relevant information and certifications.
  • Identify maintenance needs and produce technical reports.
  • Respond to and repair reactive maintenance calls, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
  • Follow risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), creating additional ones when needed.
  • Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with site security and safety procedures.
  • Participate in emergency call-out rota and occasional overtime as required.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition Regulations.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Test.
  • Inspection and Testing of electrical equipment (PAT testing) BS2377
  • Be computer literate, including operation of Handheld PDA.
  • Operation and interrogation of BMS
  • Additional basic maintenance skills desirable
