Solar Electrician/Improver/mate/Labourer required to work around the Gloucesterarea.
Please do not apply if you do NOT drive or have your own transport.
Hours: 7am - 5pm with one hour for lunch = 9hrs pd/45hrs pw.
My client is happy to take on a Domestic Improver/electrician/Mate or Labourer,if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche and full training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
- Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
- Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
- Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).
Skills & Qualifications required:
- Training will be provided
- CSCS card or ECS card (of some grading)
- 2+ years experience
- Experience in commercial or industrialwork (solar experience is a bonus).
- Have your own UTR (Unique Tax Reference number).
- Full UK driving license.
