A Solar Electrician, Improver, or Mate is needed for work in the Gloucester area, with opportunities for Domestic electricians seeking a change.
Candidates should have 1-2+ years of experience, and while the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification is not essential, it is preferred.
An ECS card of any grading is required, and a full UK driving license is necessary for the role.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch, and 7 am to 2 pm on Fridays, with overtime available for weekend work.

Solar Electrician, Improver or Mate required to work around the Gloucester area.

My client is happy to take on a Domestic electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche and full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).

Skills & Qualifications required:

Training will be provided
ECS card (of some grading)
1- 2+ years’ experience
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification, not essential
Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus).
Full UK driving license.
Working hours; 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mons-Thurs, 7am-2pm on Fridays. Overtime will be paid, 1x3 weekend work.
