The Head of Change will be responsible for driving technological transformations within a public sector organization. They will play a crucial role in enabling strategic change, while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. They will direct the development and effective running of the change management team for the organization, as well as setting up and developing a newly established Programme Management Office.

Description

  • Lead and manage technological change initiatives within the organisation.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage.
  • Work closely with the technology department to ensure the smooth implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align change initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and anticipate resistance to change, developing specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on change initiatives.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities to support employees through periods of change.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to ensure success.

Profile

A successful Head of Change should have:
