Wedding & Events Assistant - South Gloucestershire - £26,455 per annum

Acorn by Synergie is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Wedding & Events Assistant to join their clients team in South Gloucestershire at a 19th century country house. As a Wedding & Events Assistant, you will work with our clients Wedding & Events Manager to deliver exceptional experiences for the clients.

With your experience in organising and planning, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and social events. From start to finish, you will work to ensure that every aspect of the event is flawless.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in converting enquiries into sales. Your sales skills, coupled with your attention to detail and strong communication abilities, will enable you to develop new and existing business prospects and contribute to the growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the planning and execution of weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings- Collaborating with the Wedding & Events Manager to ensure all details are covered- Responding to enquiries and converting them into sales- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers- Contributing to the growth of the business by identifying and pursuing new business prospects- Conducting detailed planning and preparation for all events- Working on-site to ensure the smooth running of events- Providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the event planning process- Managing event budgets and negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in organising and planning events, with a focus on weddings and corporate events- Strong sales, coordination, and communication skills- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills- A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills- Experience in developing new and existing business prospects- Proficient in time management and ability to meet deadlines- Knowledge of event planning software and tools is an asset
