This is an exciting, rare permanent opportunity to join a leading, dynamic and fun events company based in Gloucester. You will be responsible for managing the effective maintenance and refurbishment of mobile and semi-permanent assets of the business from budget to completion. Ensuring all work adheres to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

- Developing maintenance & refurb budgets for all assets

- Create annual refurb & maintenance schedules

- Delegate tasks to team members and/or contractors

- Quarterly H & S audits and reporting to identify areas requiring maintenance & refurb of all assets at HQ and various sites

- Prepare and submit H & S documents for required work need to be conducted on site

- Manage procurement of all required components and materials

- Implement an effective fault/ defect reporting system for assets in use at events

- Reacting effectively in a timely manner to reported issues

- Supervising team members and contractors, ensuring they follow safe work practices and compliance directives/guidelines.

- Scheduling contractors as required to support the maintenance team

- Sign off of maintenance work completed prior to deployment at events

- Support the build team with in-house projects when required

Candidate Attributes:

- A good understanding about general build and compliance. Gas, electrical and plumbing regulations is advantageous

- A good understanding of industry standards and regulations

- Good verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to translate complex information

- Organisational skills for scheduling maintenance tasks and ensuring job completion, even during emergencies

- Attention to detail, ensuring maintenance tasks are not overlooked and minor site problems do not become major site problems

- Excellent understanding of reporting procedures and record-keeping

- Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
