gap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting a Blending Operator to join their beauty and skin care manufacturing department, for growing company based in Churcham.  Their mission is to improve people's lives through the innovative synergy of skincare, technology, nutrition and mental health.

The right candidate will be responsible for creating production batches, following detailed formulation guidelines, and maintaining our high-quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, teamwork, and attention detail. Successful candidate will have an experience in similar role, within cosmetics, chemicals, food & drink.

Main duties as Blending Operator:

  • Pick the raw material from the warehouse required for the production batch.
  • Prepare and produce bulk batches according to formulation guidelines, ensuring quality is met every time.
  • Use a variety of mixing vessels within the department.
  • Monitor and analyse batches during production, accurately recording results.
  • Working closely with the Production Manager to ensure production Is always maximised.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
  • Work closely with the QA team.
  • Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policies.

Skills required for the role:

  • Experience in similar role, within cosmetics, chemicals, food & drink.
  • Have good IT skills for recording batch data.
  • Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Are a team player who takes pride in delivering high-quality work

Successful candidate must be a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict guidelines.
