We are currently seeking a skilled Setter/Supervisor to join our client’s dynamic afternoon shift team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, hands-on experience with HAAS machinery, and proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. As a Setter, you will be responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment are set up correctly for production, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to overall manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications to ensure optimal production output.
  • Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Use CAD software (SolidWorks) for the design and modification of components.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify maintenance needs.
  • Fabricate parts using milling machines and welding techniques.
  • Manage materials efficiently within a warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and organization.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment and logic controller issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
