  • Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of clients, managing all aspects of their audit, accounts, tax matters, and business advisory projects throughout the year.
  • Team Leadership: Guide your team through planning and audit fieldwork, statutory financial reporting, and completion, while reporting directly to clients and participating in board meetings.
  • Tax Collaboration: Work closely with the tax department to manage tax computations and address personal and corporate tax issues and planning.
  • Client Interaction: Visit client premises and act as the main point of contact for day-to-day enquiries, ensuring excellent client service.
  • Staff Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and coach staff to foster a vibrant working environment where individual talent thrives within a dynamic team framework.

What They are Looking For:

  • Professional Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualification.
  • Audit Expertise: Proficiency in systems controls testing, substantive and analytical review auditing techniques, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
  • Leadership and Technical Skills: Strong supervisory skills with experience in coaching and motivating audit assistants, and proficient use of paperless electronic audit files with a solid understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards (UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, Companies Act legislation).
