I'm currently on the look-out for a commercial focussed Finance Business Partner to join a well-known SaaS business based just outside of Gloucester on an initial 12-month contract to help cover during business growth.

They are looking for a strong, immediately available Finance Business partner to join forces with the Head of Finance & revenue team to provide accurate analysis of forecast and actual costs to ensure the financial implications of key projects are understood from the outset and well tracked during delivery.

Your impact will lead to improvement in transparent reporting, help drive effective decision making, ensure course correction and help maximise the commercial return. This role will report to the commercial team with a dotted line into finance and operate on a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing financial support and guidance to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with non-finance staff, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis and insight, identifying trends and opportunities to drive performance.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing input and guidance to the business.

Key requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in commercial finance, qualified by experience options will be considered.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand and analyse business performance.
  • Able to work under pressure during busy periods of change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
