Our client who are a not for profit organisation based in Gloucester are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their small friendly team on a part-time permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation who provide accessible facilities and inclusive activities to people of all ages throughout Gloucestershire.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

-Providing financial oversight to the organisation

-Line management responsibilities for 1 team member

-Reviewing monthly payroll

-Production of monthly management accounts with analysis for review and discussion

-Managing contracts to ensure income is drawn down in a timely and efficient manner

-Managing the annual budgeting and business planning cycle

-Managing ongoing services including VAT, audit, banking and investments

-Ensuring statutory financial responsibilities and reporting requirements are met

-Managing production of annual accounts through liaison with Auditors

-Responsibility for ensuring the appropriate UK tax, accounting and other appropriate legislation

-Monitoring, reviewing and managing key risks to the organisation

-Improving processes and systems and driving a value for money culture

-Financial aspects of grants applications

Hours - 20 hours per week

Salary - £35,000 pro rata + onsite parking
