Finance Manager - full-time or part-time

Gloucester with 2 days WFH

£53,000 - £58,000 plus good benefits

A fantastic opportunity in a beautiful setting to lead a small team that focuses on providing outsourced management accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients. Both full-time and part-time applicants can be considered as can those from a practice or industry background. Excellent benefits on offer as well as a structured career path.

The successful candidate will oversee the accounting operations for a number of businesses so good experience of management accounting and VAT returns is important. You will be able to balance the demands of each of these clients in an effective manner, requiring excellent time management and communication skills.

You'll enjoy getting involved in project work from time to time which could include preparing budgets and forecasts, advising on systems and controls, fund-raising and business planning. You'll enjoy team management and have prior experience of coaching and developing staff.

In terms of other experience required, we're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) although we can consider qualified by experience candidates if you have the right sort of practical experience. You'll also have sound analytical and problem-solving skills and a good working knowledge of Excel.
