Manufacturing Planner

Our client is looking for Manufacturing Planner to join their Logistics and Planning team. They are a leading supplier in advanced material solutions who specialise in composite and thermoplastic polyurethane materials.

Key Responsibilities-Manufacturing Planner

  • Develop, manage, and adjust production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. Raise manufacturing orders in line with MRP planned demand
  • Coordinate labour, materials, and machinery to meet production targets, minimizing downtime
  • Prioritize production orders based on lead times, customer needs, and delivery schedules
  • Monitor raw materials and finished goods to meet demand without overstocking
  • Analyse production bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize processes
  • Collaborate across teams to resolve production and supply chain issues.
  • Track production KPIs (OEE, utilization, adherence, and capacity plans) and provide insights to management
  • Proactively identify and implement efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities

Qualifications & Requirements – Manufacturing Planner

  • Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (IFS preferred)
  • Proven track record as a Production Planner or similar role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Proven problem-solving experience in production or operational environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
  • Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines
