Client & Compliance Assistant


Location:Gloucestershire - Stroud or Gloucester
Hours:Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Client & Compliance Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the client onboarding process, ensuring compliance, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities of a Client & Compliance Assistant:

  • Add new client information to the case management system, open matters and document wallets, and produce initial client care documentation.
  • Assist with client identification, AML checks, conflict searches, and source of funds documentation.
  • Schedule and manage Deeds and Will Requests following firm procedures.
  • Handle enquiries and quotes, liaising with clients and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist with scanning, copying, and archiving of documents, as well as managing end-of-matter procedures in the case management system.
  • Support reception and undertake other administrative tasks as needed.

Key Skills of a Client & Compliance Assistant:

  • Experience in a similar administrative or client onboarding role within a professional services or legal environment is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Confident, proactive, and team-focused.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change while providing care and attention to deliver the best service to clients.
  • Organised with the ability to use initiative in managing tasks.
  • IT proficient with experience in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and preferably experience in using case management software.
