A fantastic opportunity for an ACT Technician to join a friendly and successful family-owned pharmacy in Gloucester.Seeking a friendly and organised Accuracy Checking Technician with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Building relationships with your customers is key and you'll play an important part in meeting their unique healthcare needs and providing a supporting service to aid the Pharmacist in the dispensary.

Key Duties

  • Carry out final checking of dispensed items whilst adhering to the company's standard
  • operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Supervise the pharmacy technician(s) and wider dispensary team to ensure everyone is
  • carrying out their duties correctly.
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care
  • across primary and secondary care.
  • Ensure that Patient Medication Records (PMR's) are maintained accurately to ensure
  • patient safety whilst complying with current data protection requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines and minor ailments by reading journals,
  • product information and training resources.
