Candour Talent Recruitment is urgently recruiting for a Proposals Engineer to join our well-established client in Gloucester. This position is key to providing technical and commercial support to a global customer base by delivering accurate and timely quotations for blower packages. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in collaborating across departments to ensure customer requirements are fully met, from initial enquiry through to project handover.

Main Responsibilities

• Interpret customer enquiries, including technical documents such as data sheets, project specifications, and P&IDs.
• Liaise with internal departments, including engineering, design, and production, to ensure accurate cost and lead time estimations for materials and labour.
• Select suitable materials and components for blower packages, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Perform calculations for equipment sizing, including blowers, motors, and auxiliary systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive proposal documents, including technical and commercial clarifications, and manage records of bids and opportunities.
• Attend meetings with clients for bid clarification, negotiation, and handover to the engineering department post-sale.
• Respond promptly to customer technical and commercial queries, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
