We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PSHE Teacher to join one of our partner SEND schools in Gloucester. This role involves teaching Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education to students with autism and complex needs, focusing mainly on primary-level learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and differentiated PSHE lessons tailored to the needs of students with autism and additional complex needs.
  • Developing lesson plans that foster social skills, emotional resilience, and personal growth.
  • Building strong relationships with students to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support for each student.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching PSHE (experience within SEND settings preferred).
  • Strong understanding of autism and strategies for supporting students with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support students effectively.
  • A commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
