Join Our Mission: Team Leader Positions in Children's Residential setting - Help grow & shape a service

Salary: £34,834 - £38,223 (Dependent upon experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children? Our client is at the forefront of an exciting new initiative to open and operate a diverse range of local children's homes, and they're looking for dedicated Team Leaders to join their journey.

About Them:

Our vision is to provide safe, nurturing environments for children who need support to return to a family setting or who require long-term care. With the successful recruitment of our Registered Manager and Deputy Manager for our first two children's homes, we are now expanding our team. Our homes are designed to offer trauma-informed, holistic care and to work closely with statutory partners to achieve timely permanence for our children.

The Role:

As a Team Leader, you'll be instrumental in leading shifts, supporting front-line practitioners, and ensuring the well-being of the children in your care. You'll work closely with the Registered Manager to shape the development of our homes, from registration with Ofsted to operational success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading shifts and providing guidance to practitioners.
  • Carrying out sleeping-in duties (additional allowance provided).
  • Implementing and reviewing risk assessments and management plans.
  • Directly working with children and their families.
  • Acting as a keyworker and participating in meetings and reviews.

About You:

We're seeking individuals with a strong background in children's residential care and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • A full driving licence and willingness to drive.
  • DBS clearance.

Why us?

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking initiative that will have a lasting impact on the lives of many children. You'll be joining a forward-thinking team dedicated to providing high-quality care and support.
