A bespoke structural engineering company in Quedgeley, Gloucester is seeking a Rigger / Team Leader to join their team.
The role involves leading a team in erecting and fixing steel structures, surveying, installing, and decommissioning them across various industries.
Candidates must have previous rigging or steel erection experience, along with working at height experience, and be able to read technical drawings.
The position requires excellent communication skills, a full valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a climbing medical and drug test.

A bespoke structural engineering company are looking to add a Rigger / Team Leader to join their fantastic team in Quedgeley, Gloucester.

Responsibilities ;

: Lead a small team erecting and fixing steel structures

: Survey, install and decommission steel structures across a range of industries

: Pre assemble structures prior to dispatch

: Safely working at height on structures including poles, towers and masts

: Set out and install screw piles, frames and platforms

: Driving continuous improvement and feeding back buildability / installation challenges to the design teams

Requirements ;

: Previous rigging / steel erection experience essential

: Must have working at height experience

: Familiar with tower erection, antenna and transmission line systems on towers, rooftops and other structures

: Able to read and interpret technical drawings

: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel around the UK and occasionally overseas

: Excellent communication skills

: Full valid drivers licence

: Pass a climbing medical and a drugs and alcohol test

: Climbing and Rescue

: CSCS / CPCS

: Slinger / Banksman

: MEWP Operator

: Rooftop Accreditation

: RF Awareness
