HSE Officer

What You Will Do:

• Support the development and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies in collaboration with senior management• Ensure full compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards• Manage and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet ISO 14001 certification requirements• Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments, ensuring all activities align with company and legal sustainability commitments• Deliver HSE training and awareness initiatives across all levels of the organisation• Investigate workplace incidents and environmental non-conformities, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental performance and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility• Support energy management initiatives and contribute to energy efficiency improvements (experience with ISO 50001 is beneficial)

What You Will Bring:

• Significant HSE management experience in a complex, high-risk manufacturing environment• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualifications (environmental or energy-related certifications are a plus)• Experience managing and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems• Knowledge or exposure to ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems is beneficial• Strong understanding of HSE legislation, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities
