Position Overview:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring students to unleash their creativity, develop practical skills, and explore the exciting world of design and technology. This is a planning and marking role, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of engaging and dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from £155 to £250 per day, based on experience and pay scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons up to GCSE level.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated and enriching curriculum.
- Engage students in practical projects that foster creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
