Key Responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching:

Provide support to individual students or small groups who need additional help.
Monitor students' progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and carers to discuss development.
Take responsibility for teaching classes independently, especially when the teacher is absent due to illness or leave.
Set up classrooms for lessons and ensure resources such as books and handouts are prepared.
Plan and deliver learning activities, either independently or with guidance from the teacher.
