Academics Ltd is currently seeking a committed Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Gloucester. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and development across the Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. You will play a vital role in helping students flourish and reach their full potential during these crucial early years of education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students.
  • Provide tailored support to children with additional needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes growth and development.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups, offering additional support where needed.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.

What are Academics Ltd looking for?

  • A passion for education and working with young learners.
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant (desirable but not essential).
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS or the willingness to apply for one.
