Job Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with the Year 1 teacher to deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals.
Assist with classroom organization, preparation of resources, and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and engagement.
Monitor and support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Uphold the school's safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.
Required Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with:
- Previous experience in a UK school, ideally in a primary school setting.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children's education.
