Job Opportunity: Housekeeping Assistant/Rehabilitation Services Domestic Assistant
Location: GL1 4BP
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Pay Rate: 11.59 per hour
Available Shifts:
- Monday - Friday: 10 am - 3 pm
- Saturday - Sunday: 10 am - 3 pm

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for maintaining cleaning standards and managing the laundry for individuals attending the service, under the guidance of the Registered Manager. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will ensure the service meets Health and Safety legislation and Care Quality Commission Essential Standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all interior cleaning tasks and provide laundry services for individuals attending our service.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, other professionals, and colleagues.
- Adhere to risk assessment guidelines relevant to your role.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures to maintain sanitary and hygienic standards for the well-being of those attending our service.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in cleaning within a domestic or commercial setting.
- Flexibility to work as part of a supportive team.
- Strong communication skills, including clear and appropriate language usage, and effective listening abilities.
- Ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety legislation, including COSHH, Safeguarding, and the Equalities Act.
- Ability to comprehend and follow policies and procedures.
