The Organisation Our client is a fast-growing, Midlands-based, private-equity backed manufacturing business operating across multiple UK sites. They are currently going through an M&A programme and are looking to double in size in the next 12 months. To this end, they are looking to hire an Interim Human Resources Director to join their businesses and help shape their people strategy through this period of exciting growth. The Role Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, this is an ideal role for an HR professional well versed in managing all people-related issues as the organisation goes through the acquisition process. You will have relevant manufacturing sector and multi-site experience to support your leadership of the HR function at this critical time. In this wide-ranging role, you'll take the lead on TUPE activity and advise on the organisation's HR strategy. You'll ensure regulatory compliance, advise on risk and employment law issues and with your team you will own the recruitment (and retention) strategy. The Candidate The successful Interim Human Resources Director will: - have worked in a similar senior Human Resources leadership role, and have a demonstrable track record in leading a business' people strategy during an acquisition process. - ideally have experience of delivering successfully in a Private Equity-backed organisation - have experience and sound knowledge of TUPE arrangements - be educated to a Degree or MSc level in Human Resources and/or hold or be actively working towards the Level 7 CIPD (holding CIPD membership) - have in-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and pending changes - have experience of working in a multisite environment in one of the following sectors in the manufacturing sector - have a keen working knowledge of an organisation's operational processes and procedures
